Summary:
Map 861 is a 20km x 10km Tacops CE Map (Mac). It shows a modern temperate climate area with light woods, dense primary and secondary road network, medium-sized and smaller towns and a shallow, fordable river.  The 20x10 format is standard for UK O/S Maps, but this vicinity is imaginary.

Terrain features:
Rough varies from light to heavy: heaviest rough is in a valley at NW corner of map (05/08); most rough is light. Around major highway exits (cloverleafs) LOS is unpredictable, due to elevated sections etc. Bridges also tend to block LOS. The river is R4 fordable at all places.
